My Relfection on EEND 679

My Reflection In this course I learned about how to use so many different digital tech tools. These tech tools will help me help my students. After learning about these tools I will be able to implement more technology into my instruction. Now that I have been introduce to new digital platforms such as Seesaw, I will be able to use it with my students and their families. By using Seesaw I will be able to keep a digital portfolio and it will provide me with data. The data that I need to meet my student's needs in all content areas. I no longer have to rely on one to one conferencing to get data from assessing students. I no longer will have to waste valuable instructional time generating data from those conferences. That time will be used to address misunderstandings or misconceptions that my students may have. Not only did I learn about the importance of using infographics in the classroom, I learned how to create one comparing two digital tools. I have even learned how to create a blog! I can't say that I will be able to use everthing that I have learned right away but I can say that I will be able to incorporate it little by little so that my students master it well. I do know that I will be spending a lot of time creating more assignments and assessments on Seesaw. I also plan on talking to my adminstration to see if the school could possible purchase it for my students and I. My goal is to use what I have learned to provide my students with the computational thinking skills that they need to succeed in the 21st century. I want them to have a strong foundation in all content areas and especially in technology.
