My Reflection 

This course has allowed me to see education through a different lens.  I experienced a little bit of what an administer does.  This course has provided me with knowledge of how to look at walk throughs as a positive learning experience.  Although, I have never been part of a walk through or observed by a team of educatiors, I have heard lots of negative comments about walk throughs.  Some teachers in my school are against having peoole go into their classrooms.  They have said that they feel that the team of teachers go in the classroom to look for the bad things that they are doing.  Now that I have completed this course I feel that I can help my colleagues change their mind set.  Helping them understand that being observed is not to a bad thing but as an opportunity to grow as an educator.  This course has also given me the opportunity to learn about the hiring process.  With the way technology has changed over the years integration is now a requirement in the classroom.  Now that I have been preparing to be a tech specialist I can help teachers by providing them with strategies on to integrate technology into their instruction.  I can help teachers find digital tools that will encourage and promote student engagement and collaboration. I plan on helping my fellow colleagues by forming professional learning communitties. So that as a group we can grow together to make our practice better for our students.
